Steubing LLC exists to give Central Texas property owners, builders, and developers the confidence that comes from knowing their land is surveyed right. We are based in Bastrop, Texas, and we provide boundary surveys, title surveys, construction staking, topographic mapping, ALTA surveys, elevation certificates, and drone LiDAR services across Bastrop, Williamson, Lee, Fayette, Burleson, and Caldwell Counties. Accuracy and honest communication are at the core of every project we take on.

Meet the Steubing Team
Robert has held his Professional Land Surveyor license in the state of Texas since 2002. He worked his way up from rodman to crew chief before attending the University of Texas School of Engineering, earning his credentials while working full-time. With more than two decades of hands-on experience, Robert leads every project with a focus on accuracy, thoroughness, and keeping clients in the loop.
Brynda holds a degree in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University and brings more than 20 years of management experience across retail, food service, and oil and gas industries. She joined the surveying team in 2018 and now manages scheduling, client communication, and community relations for all Steubing LLC services. Brynda processes our drone LiDAR data, coordinates subdivision platting approvals across multiple jurisdictions, and regularly meets with local leaders to advocate for property owners in our service area.
Joe is a native Texan with more than 11 years of experience in the surveying industry. He holds an LSIT and is currently pursuing his RPLS licensure while working full-time in both the field and office. Joe is our construction staking specialist. Utility staking, building layout, large-scale site development: he has done it all and brings that hands-on expertise to every project. He also holds an FAA Part 107 license for drone-based project monitoring and LiDAR surveys.
Brittany holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Texas Lutheran University and completed her Surveyor in Training certification through Austin Community College. Before joining Steubing LLC, she gained field experience as a rodman, party chief, and survey tech. Brittany is currently pursuing her RPLS licensure while managing both field and office operations.
Korbin joined Steubing LLC in 2022 as a survey technician responsible for processing field data, preparing plats for RPLS review, and researching property deeds and records. His work ensures that our field crews have accurate, complete data for every project. Korbin holds an FAA Part 107 license and pilots our drone missions for LiDAR topographic surveys.
Kenneth is a Marine veteran with more than 30 years of surveying experience in Texas. Since joining Steubing LLC in 2022, he has been a vital part of our daily field operations, using Trimble GPS and total station equipment to gather boundary data, locate improvements, and document field observations for RPLS analysis. Kenneth specializes in boundary and topographic surveys and is often the first person community members talk to about their surveying needs.
Austin began his surveying career as a rodman in California in 2023 before relocating to Bastrop in 2024 to join the Steubing LLC team. He is currently pursuing his Surveyor in Training certification through Austin Community College while working full-time as a survey technician and party chief. Austin prepares subdivision plats for RPLS review and supports field operations whenever additional crew is needed. Outside of work, he enjoys 3D printing and cooking.
Connor is pursuing his RPLS license, and holds a degree in Engineering Science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. He transforms field data into precise CAD drawings and plats for RPLS review and is one of our go-to people for subdivision platting. He has prepared plats ranging from simple two-lot splits to large developments with hundreds of lots across multiple Central Texas counties.
Travis grew up in Del Valle, Texas, and has been in the surveying industry since 2014. He serves as a party chief for Steubing LLC, handling boundary surveys, elevation certificates, subdivision layout, and a range of additional field assignments as project demands require. Travis brings reliable, hands-on field leadership to every job. In his free time, he enjoys building RC trucks, off-roading, and spending time with his family.
Kyle has been surveying since 2000 and brings more than two decades of field experience to every project. He grew up in Thrall, Texas, and currently lives in Taylor, where he is based for our construction division. Kyle leads on-site layout for commercial and residential construction projects, staking buildings, utilities, easements, and infrastructure across Central Texas. He spends much of his time on the road between active job sites and enjoys the variety that comes with construction work across the region. Outside of work, Kyle spends time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and dogs.
