Your Surveyor and Your Model Builder
Steubing LLC builds 3D machine control models in house for utility, earthwork, and excavation contractors across Central Texas. We work from your civil plan set, CAD files, or PDFs and deliver a model that matches the design intent and is ready to load on your equipment.
Most projects use one company to build the model and a separate surveyor to calibrate and verify it on site. We do both. That means fewer discrepancies between the design and the field, and less time waiting on deliverables.

Finish grade and subgrade surfaces built from your civil plans, so your operators are cutting and filling to the right elevations from day one.
Improvement Breaklines
Feature breaklines for curbs, pavement edges, swales, pads, and other improvements, modeled to match the design intent shown in the plan set.
Underground Utilities
Water, wastewater, and storm lines modeled in 3D with the correct depths and grades for utility contractors and excavation crews.
3D Contour Linework
3D contour linework for grading and earthwork, useful for takeoffs, field reference, and checking the model against existing ground.
Formal QA/QC
Every model goes through a formal QA/QC process before delivery, including civil plan checks, scaling checks, and surface continuity checks.
Leica, Topcon, and Trimble
We deliver models for Leica, Topcon, and Trimble equipment in .xml and .tp3 formats, ready to load on your machines and rovers.

Licensed Surveyors, Not Just Model Builders
Equipment dealers and model shops can build a surface, but they cannot set or verify site control. Our licensed surveyors handle on site calibration and third party verification in house.

Steubing LLC is TxDOT certified, so prime contractors on corridor and highway work can bring us in without adding another approval to the list.
